Its mission is to provide students with qualitative courses and solid knowledge in Arabic language and foreign languages, particularly English and French, and in literature and literary creation.<br \/>\nThe number of students of the Faculty reached 3827 students during the 2018\/2019 season, supervised by 111 professors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"textheader\">Departments<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty of Languages and Literature, today consists of two departments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Department of Literature and Arabic Language.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Department of foreign languages.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"textheader\">Courses offers<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty of Literature and Languages offers courses that covers the three cycles: License, Master, and Doctorate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"smallheader\">Courses in Bachelor<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.Field of the Arab literature<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Branch: Literary studies, specialty: Arabic literature.<\/li>\n<li>Branch: Linguistics, specialty: Applied linguistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Field of Foreign languages<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Branch: <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"\/?page_id=12258&amp;lang=en\">French language.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Branch: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"\/?page_id=12250&amp;lang=en\">English language.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"smallheader\">Courses\u00a0in\u00a0Master<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Master in Arabic language and literature<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First-year (ancient Arabic literature, contemporary literature, Algerian literature, applied linguistics, Arabic linguistics).<\/li>\n<li>Second-year (ancient Arabic literature, contemporary literature, Algerian literature, applied linguistics, Arabic linguistics)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"\/?page_id=12214&amp;lang=en\">Master in French language (Language Sciences)<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"\/?page_id=12266&amp;lang=en\">Master in English language Master (Teaching of foreign languages)<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"smallheader\">Doctoral courses<\/p>\n<p>Le premier concours de doctorat a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 au cours de la saison 2015\/2016, dans la sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 de la litt\u00e9rature moderne et contemporaine.
