{"id":1611,"date":"2019-11-22T18:42:13","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T15:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.univ-mila.dz?page_id=1611"},"modified":"2024-12-18T11:00:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-18T10:00:43","slug":"residency-training-abroad","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.univ-mila.dz\/?page_id=1611&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Residency training abroad"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"textheader\">1- Residency Training Abroad \/ Professors<\/p>\r\n<p>In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 14-196 of Ramadan 8, 1435 corresponding to July 6, 2014, governing the organization and management of training and skills improvement abroad, residency training abroad concerns:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Specialties not taught in Algeria<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Specialized higher education training complementing specialties taught in Algeria.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>In addition to the conditions mentioned in Articles 26 and 30 of Presidential Decree No. 14-196, professor-researchers, hospital-university professors in medicine, and permanent researchers enrolled in Algeria to prepare a doctoral thesis, requiring research or internships abroad, are selected after reviewing files by the scientific councils of their employing institutions or the organizing committees. The required conditions include:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li><strong>The candidate must be enrolled in Algeria to prepare a doctoral thesis;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Have at least one (01) year of effective service and be tenured;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Be proposed by their institution after selection by competent scientific bodies;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Provide a letter of acceptance from a recognized foreign university or research institution;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Submit a study and research program for the training period abroad, approved by the thesis supervisor.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p class=\"textheader\">2- Residency Training Abroad \/ Employees<\/p>\r\n<p>Employees of public administrations and public institutions, who are tenured and hold at least a first-cycle degree or equivalent, may benefit from residency training abroad provided they meet the following conditions:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li><strong>Have at least three (03) years of effective service at the time of departure for training;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Meet the conditions and criteria set by the national committee;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Meet the conditions and criteria required for the planned training;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Be proposed by their administration.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p class=\"textheader\">3- Residency Training Abroad \/ Students<\/p>\r\n<p>In addition to the conditions mentioned in Presidential Decree No. 14-196 and Decree No. 1266 of December 23, 2015, the student candidate for residency training abroad must:<\/p>\r\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_tabs style=&#8221;modern&#8221; shape=&#8221;round&#8221; color=&#8221;peacoc&#8221; active_section=&#8221;1&#8243;][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fa fa-flag&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;Eligibility Conditions&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li><strong>Possess the required university degree for admission to the planned training;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Be among the top-ranked candidates;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Comply with the standards set by the national committee and the conditions defined by the scientific or pedagogical council of the concerned higher education institution;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Be ranked based on the general averages of the university program, obtained without repeating a year in the same training program, and be among the top three (03) candidates in the group of accredited persons or disciplines at the national level;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>If the student has been transferred from one institution to another during their academic program, the original university&#8217;s scores are taken into account;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p>The student must be, by 12\/31 of the current year:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>23 years old for those holding a bachelor&#8217;s degree;<\/li>\r\n<li>25 years old for students with a master&#8217;s degree, an engineer&#8217;s degree, an architecture degree, a veterinary degree, a doctorate in dental medicine, or a doctorate in pharmacy;<\/li>\r\n<li>27 years old for those with a doctorate in medicine.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Candidates will undergo a written competition, a competition based on file review, or selection by a special committee when new cooperation opportunities arise after the competition&#8217;s organization.<br \/>\u00b7 Application File<\/p>\r\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fa fa-file-text&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;Application File&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Application File<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>The foreign scholarship application file generally consists of the following documents:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li><strong>Foreign grant application form specified by the Foundation president and the national symposium president;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Birth certificate (01);<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Two (02) photographs;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>A higher education certificate (02) signed by the vice-chancellor for training in the first and second phases and certificates;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Copies of the university program transcript according to the form approved by the responsible ministry, marked by the dean and vice-president of the university for training in the first and second phases and certificates;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Certified copies of academic certificates from the university program, marked by the vice-president of the university for training in the first and second phases and certificates;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Certified copies of obtained degrees (baccalaureate and bachelor&#8217;s), marked by the vice-chancellor for training in the first and second phases and certificates;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Two (02) recommendation letters from two professors explaining the training&#8217;s objectives;<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Copy of the passport (first 05 pages);<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>The desired training objective.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p>* Additional documents may be required depending on the grant type and the host country.<\/p>\r\n<p>* A language test (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, TEPS, OPLC, TCF, DELF) may sometimes be required.<\/p>\r\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_tabs][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\r\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1- Residency Training Abroad \/ Professors In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 14-196 of Ramadan 8, 1435 corresponding to July 6, 2014, governing the organization and management of training and skills improvement abroad, residency training abroad concerns: Specialties not taught in Algeria Specialized higher education training complementing specialties taught in Algeria.
